Nancy Barnett

Nancy is the co-owner of two successful businesses and has 25+ years experience in corporate training, human resources, and vocational business training. In 2008 she joined Suzy Schutz to create Apis Business Solutions, an accounting firm that focuses on managerial accounting for small businesses. As a team Nancy and Suzy provided training for the Colorado Department of Vocational Rehab’s entrepreneurial program.

Nancy’s passion is helping business owners start or improve their businesses by understanding all the components to build a strong business foundation.  She takes great pleasure in helping owners with strategic planning and business plan development.  Nancy has been both a teacher and consultant at the Colorado network Small Business Development Center. Nancy has worked with both start ups and established businesses. Nancy teaches business plan development, startup basics and a variety of other business classes. It was through her work with the SBDC that she created the eL3 curriculum for business planning. As a co-founder of eL3 she is committed to creating the best entrepreneurial training available. Prior to founding eL3 Nancy spent 20+ years in the corporate arena including education director of a large business college in California as well as 14 years with AAA Colorado as Director of Corporate Training. During her tenure at AAA she created award-winning training programs and instituted a successful Quality Control Program for the Emergency Road Service Center.
